Scuba diving certification

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Personal Investor

So my wife and I just signed up for classes to be certified in scuba and I was curious if anyone out there is already certified and has some stories or pictures that they would like to share with me about places they have went or seen.  This is the shop where we will be taking our classes at http://scubaadventuresqca.com (in case anyone wants to go sign up).

When we took our honeymoon to the caribbean we went to Grand Caymon and missed out on snorkling the reef they have there, hopefully we will be able to return there soon.  Anyways, we our wanting to plan our next trip and would love to hear some stories of places all of you have been and if you have any pictures then that would be great too.

Thanks, Lucky II

I lived in Panama for a year. That's where the Panama Canal is not Florida. It's beautiful there and if you ever have a chance....go. I used to snorkel and dive there and I have yet to see anything as pretty. IT's been 10 years since I lived there but I find it hard to believe it's that much different. Be sure and read up on all the pirate stories too and visit the ruins. If you have a chance then you might want to meet up with some of the local indian tribes. I believe it was the Cuna tribe that I used to see all of the time in town.

In Mexico, Playa Del Carmen is great. Not as crowded as the more popular places like Cozumel and Cancun that people go to for partying. You can take an atv tour of the ruins and jungle areas and swim and dive in cenotes.

Thanks Marcus

Cheri, thanks for the input about Panama! My wive would love to check out the ruins there, we got to see some of the Mayan Ruins when we went to the caribbean.  I will for sure have to check more into Panama and see what all it has to offer!!

Also thanks for the  info about mexico /playa del carmen. When we took our cruise we went to cozumel and it was a LOT of fun! We went zip lining through the jungle tree tops and then snorkling after.  I wasn't a big fan of Costa maya, the men there were all very vulgar and the army was extremely rude! The scenery was worth it, but thats about it.

Some of the best diving in the world can be attained in and around ambergis caye in belize. I suggest everyone check it out or go out and get yourself a copy of diving magazine where it's always mentioned inside.

Dad, thanks for the info about Aruba. I haven't heard much about Baby Beach in all of the research that I have done. I will look in to that place and see what kind of trip I can come up with.

Castellum Realty, I have been to Belize before about a year and a half ago, but wasn't aware that they had a good diving location there. The city was one of great poverty, yet the people were some of the best that I have cameacross in other countries!! I will take a look in to Belize for a diving spot the next time I am in the Caribbean!

Does anyone have pictures of their trips?

I have been looking into purchasing a very nice digital underwater camera with a really good flash also. Any inside tips to camera buying would be appreciated as well!  =)
