Staging a Home That Existed Briefly

By
Home Stager with Gloria Home Staging, Inc.

On the weekend of January 15-17, Gloria Home Staging had the opportunity to stage the Monty Anderson Construction Group's display home at the Orlando Spring Home & Garden Show. They began building the home right there in the Orange County Convention Center on Wednesday morning. By the time we arrived on Thursday afternoon, it was ready for us to make it beautiful.

Thousands of people walked through the home during the weekend -- it made a big impression! The folks from Monty Anderson were great to work with, and we appreciate having the chance to work with them to make their display home a success. Click on the picture below to see how it looked:

Sharon - It was so strange planning for a space that was only on paper, but we were very pleased with how it came out. I'm glad you liked it, too!

Ginger - Thanks! The builder and his whole team really liked our work, and will be encouraging their customers to have their homes staged (by us!), so that they sell before the customers move into their newly constructed homes. I think it may be the start of a beautiful relationship!

Cathy - Thanks for waiting so patiently for the results. I'm glad you think they were worth waiting for!

How much fun was this Laurie! You did a fantastic job defining a wide-open space, which can be challenging. Did you get any quality leads for your efforts?

Thanks, Barb! It's good to hear your words of encouragement!

Hi, Maureen - thanks! We thought it sounded like an offer too good to pass up. Now we wait and see what comes of it. BTW, I wish it was always so easy to hang our banner - the walls in the "garage" were insulated with foam. We didn't even need nails. How easy is that?

Janice - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm going to send the slideshow to the builder, and maybe post it on Youtube. I'm sure we'll find plenty of ways to use it!

Debra - That really was a big room to figure out what to do with! At first we thought there would be a kitchen in one corner that would help, but that fell through, and we settled for spacious and used our biggest sofa set. We didn't get any actual leads from the show yet, but we gave away a lot of brochures, and forged a good relationship with the builder that I'm optimistic will lead to some stagings. Thanks for dropping in!
