Wordless Wednesday, Above it All
While flying to the Northwest for a fishing trip in a small plane, a friend took this picture. Living in the Northwest I am spoiled with phenomenal scenery every day. I tend to live my life below the clouds, under the grey skies that Seattle is best known for, but on a clear day I couldn't ask to be in a better place, and anything seems possible.
Dan, haven't been to Ranier in 20 years, still looks pretty much like I remember, albeit this seems an easier route to take. Thanks!

Hi Dan -- gorgeous, surreal photo. When I fly north to Seattle or Vancouver, I always get a seat on the right-hand side (as I face forward) and love watching the entire chain of of volano peaks march along. Thanks for posting this.

Dan - not just above the clouds but also between the clouds ... cloud layers ... something we can't appreciate as well from the ground
It's fun to see above the clouds I like to climb Mt Washington and be above the clouds on solid ground....

Very serene. I love seeing the halo over Mt. Ranier! The colors are wonderful up there above the clouds...
