Massachusetts voters just sent a very powerful message to the White House. The future of this country is with all of us and our courage to speak out on the critical issues confronting us. Let's keep the ball rolling . . .
Throughout the next seven days, the White House will be looking for input on who should receive the 2010 Presidential Citizens Medal. This is our chance to nominate a candidate to receive this recognition.
I'm not naive enough to think a nominee who stands against any of the current policies being put forward in Washington stands much of a chance. BUT, does that mean that citizens should remain silent about who we think should receive the nomination? Remember, a month ago Scott Brown was not given much of a chance, then the people spoke.
