Playing in the ActiveRain ~ Vegas Style...

Yesterday, the pitter patter on the outside was not little feet. It was some badly needed rain that was needed in the Las Vegas area. Rain or no, this did not put damper on Vegas Bob, John Novak and yours truly getting together for the Boys Night out. Between the two of them, I got an opportunity to see a lot that I would have otherwise missed.

It is always good to get together to see my ActiveRain friends and family. Better than a calling circle any day.

I feel that this is what it is all about. I got a wonderful opportunity to meet two wonderful individuals twice. Once through their postings, and once in person. Life IS good...

VB, Thanks for the re-post. I got back to thunder storms, golfball sized hail and tornado warnings. Some areas of the state (south of here) are really getting hammered. We are just getting a lot of rain and lightning...

Robert, great story and re-blog. I'm looking forward to traveling so that I too can meet people I only get to email now. It's pretty cool that you can pretty much know people by email in all fifty states and Canada and then get the chance to actually meet them when you travel.
