Each unit is 1156 sq feet of living space divided between two floors. There are two large bedrooms on the second level and each has its own full bath and balcony. Since I rarely venture off the island of Key West so I asked the Property Manager to describe the type of owners and renters that live in these units. She said a lot of people that live in the colder northern states like to come to the Keys to rent a place for the winter. So even though the unit could be rented daily, the normal tenancy is quite long. During the summer places in the Keys with boat slips are favorite destinations for Floridians to come and relax. She also told me that owners that rent long term rent to locals who prefer to be near Key West but not in Key West.Cudjoe Key is located at Mile Marker 21. That is almost midway between Key West and Marathon for couples that may have jobs in either "city".
