An Entertaining Little Guy Was Outside My Window.....

I got to my office bright and early Friday so I could check emails and spend a little time on ActiveRain and Facebook before settling in to make some phone calls later in the morning.  Sitting at my desk I have a great view of all that is going on outside.  This busy little squirrel was a lot of fun to watch as he dug for nuts and enjoyed some playtime and breakfast.

I took these pictures through a dirty window, and think most of them turned out pretty decent anyway.  Since I had to move the blinds to take pictures, he heard me and seemed nervous at first and would run up the tree, but he seemed to get used to me after a while.  Maybe he will come back and visit next week!

Hi Ann-Squirrels are fun to watch and they can jump amazing distances and most of the time they land on the intended target. They are VERY smart critters. They are definitely a critter that knows how to survive. Hope you have had a great week. I worked 60 hours this week at my second job so I haven't been in the rain hardly at all and tomorrow is my first day off since the 15th. Lots of supplies coming in for the non-profit organization that we are sending to Haiti. Have a great Sunday. <SMILE>

Oh yeah. Real cute things they are. Till they become destructive.

I have my classic car (which I currently can't afford to fix and is not running) parked in my driveway with a car cover over it. And EXPENSIVE car cover, I might add.

One corner of it has started to deteoriate and come apart. NOT...the fricking squirrels are chewing it up! Yes! I sprayed bug spray around it, and will have to keep an eye on it.

Now they are not so cute!

Hi Ann, It's fun to look out the window and see little critters or birds --- for those moments that we watch them something great happens, we smile and relax!!  I think your little guy is very entertaining and I especially like the second shot!

Oh....Isn't he just the cutest thing!  I am sure he is happy that the weather has warmed up a bit.  I wonder what our Alabama squirrels do when the temperatures drop so much lower than what they are use to.

Good for him, he set aside reserves to keep him going when times got tough.  Hmmm, is there a message there?

Ann, for the LIFE of me I can't understand why I think squirrels are so cute.  They are Rodents and I'm terrified of mice but when I see a squirrel I always stop to watch it!  Loved the photos, it looks like he was having a fun day :)

Ann, How cute!  I'd love to have your view.  My house in Nashville was on a wooded lot and I would sit for hours and watch the squirrels play.  Are you going to Retech South or REBAR camp in Nashville?
