As noted in several of my previous blog posts, the Birmingham housing market for 2010 is well positioned for a nice rebound this year, especially for the first six months. In case you missed it in this morning's The Birmingham News, there is a nice article about some of the most recent trends and expectations from others in and around the real estate marketplace with their own specialized take on where we've come and where we are headed. For the complete article, just go to hopes on rise for housing.
As the National Association of Realtors consistently says in its public service messages, "every market is different." The Birmingham housing market is actually made up of literally dozens of individual markets, each with its own set of strengths and weaknesses as defined by quality and types of housing, perceived quality of schools and / or infrastructure, convenience to shopping and / or work, etc.... Need information regarding either (1) the area for which your currently live or (2) an area you are possibly targeting to move? Don't pay for this service!
Just go to contact me and I will provide you VIA EMAIL (I promise no phone calls without your authorization!) links to homes that have sold or are currently listed within 1/2 mile of your targeted address under whatever other criteria you specify! That's it! What is the catch? None. You see, my hope is that by getting this free service (I can set your email updates to daily, weekly or monthly - you decide), you'll contact me if and when you get ready to either buy or sell. I can even send you free updated foreclosure lists for Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia, Mountain Brook, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena or any other municipality or subdivision within the greater Birmingham area.
Vist my website at www.markcrain.com or call me today if you'd like to talk real estate or ask a question about your home's value, financing issues (alot has changed with FHA recently), short sales or the federal tax credits that are set to expire in about 97 days.
