Looking for a home to buy? Theres more to it than meets the eye!

Looking for a home to buy? Theres more to it than meets the eye. Most first time homebuyers are amazed when they begin the process. Unfortunately many are never informed of all the steps involved until they have submitted a contract to purchase a home.

Did you know that in Virginia there is an Agency Disclosure form that details the duties and responsibilities of the Realtor to their client?

Did your Realtor take the time to determine your exact needs and wants or just ask you how much you wanted to spend?

Did your Realtor refer you to several mortgage lenders in order for you to be able to determine who can service your needs the best?

Have you ever had the contract acceptance process explained to you? The difference between pre-approval and the actual loan underwriting process?  The settlement process?  Home inspection contingency?  Radon remediation?

If you ever want to have a discussion about any aspect of the buying or selling process please feel free to call.

Great information for the home buyer-a home buyer needs to take the time to make sure they have a Realtor who will take the time to explain the process to them.
