Weekly Inspiration - DNA Yah or Nay...

Last week I shared with you an experiment that was conducted on DNA showing the amazing effects that positive and negative emotions have on our physical body with the feelings of love, appreciation and compassion actually helping to boost your immune system and negative emotions having the opposite effect of impeding your immune system.

We’ve been told many times that only we have the choice as to how we respond to someone else and the way they treat us. If they put us down or criticize us, only we have the control over how and if we allow those actions to impact us. Of course the logical course of action would be to do our best to surround ourselves with people who are loving, caring and supportive so there’s less effort in governing our emotions.

But there’s another DNA related experiment that just may reinforce the importance of who we surround ourselves with.

The United States Army conducted a study where they took a DNA sample (scrapings from the donor’s mouth) and put this DNA in a devise that could measure the response. They then lead the donor to another part of the building where they subjected the donor to various emotional stimuli (joy, fear, rage) and measured the impact to the DNA.

I’m guessing you’ve already figured out what they found. The DNA sample showed an exact response to that of the donor’s even when the DNA was separated from the host! The initial results were conducted where the donor and host were about 50 feet apart. Later experiments were conducted where the distance was hundreds of miles (400 miles from LA to Phoenix!).

The experiment was conducted to try to determine if there is an ‘energy field’ that the impulses travel upon to get from the donor to the actual DNA. Because the responses were simultaneous, they were able to conclude that they do not travel to and from the donor but that we are literally connected to our DNA through our emotions.

I find this all very fascinating and there have been many books written on this field. But that’s not why I’m sharing this today.

By now I’m guessing there isn’t a single one of us who haven’t seen some crime show or news report where the suspect in a crime was captured and convicted based on the DNA left at the scene. The DNA left behind… And it comes in all forms doesn’t it? Our hair, our skin, bodily fluid… [Yes… I may be watching too much Dexter.]

So, if I’m energetically connected to my DNA, and my emotions will continue to have an impact on the DNA left behind, could I be having a residual impact on those people that I come in contact for some brief time as I’m leaving trails of DNA everywhere? And who am I coming in contact with that is leaving their DNA around me!

I haven’t been able to find any experiment conducted that proves the theory that I’m suggesting or the lasting effects of one’s DNA on another.

However, think for a moment of how you feel when you’re surrounded by happy, loving and supportive people. I mean physically in their presence. You can’t help but feel the same feelings can you? The same is also true. Have you ever been in a public place where you come close to someone and you can just feel the energy shift. It’s almost as if they have Linus’s dark cloud hanging around them and it’s moved into your airspace.

This experiment is telling me that I don’t even want to get near someone who may ‘rub me the wrong DNA way’.

Keep your Dark DNA to yourself, thank you…

So the next time we may be so inclined to share our space with someone or swap DNA, we just may want to think about the potential consequences and either say, Thank you, but no Thank you or if they’re a happy, loving person say

Bring your DNA my Way!!

Kathie, did you ever see "What The Bleep Do We Know"?

FASCINATING studies on the result of emotion and attitude on our bodies, to the cellular level.

And, on point 2: We leave our 'imprint' wherever we go. Not a carbon footprint, but an auric one. So why wouldn't DNA be included in that 'ripple effect'?

That's why I would rather be alone and/or with my dog than w/ many people who are small minded, negative or ego-driven ... :)

Hi Candice,

I have seen What the Bleep! In fact I just went to Dr. Joe Dispenza's workshop a week ago. Great workshop!

And I hear you! I have two dogs (one of which is laying his head on my foot as I type this). I really make a concentrated effort to choose the people that I spend my 'free' time with.

Thank you so much for replying and give your poochie a hug for me!!
