The weather has been absolutely beautiful this weekend, perfect for swimming in the year round 72 degree springs. I had the priveledge to take a hike through Rainbow Springs State Park yesterday. Check out the natural beauty that our area possesses. (The alligator caution pic made me laugh, but the odds of swimming with an alligator in this part of the park are slim.)

Jennifer, great photos and what a lovely area. I envy the 72 degress, but not the "beware of alligators."

Gary,
Thank you. This area is very beautiful. I thought that the alligator caution sign made a funny picture with the people swimming in the background. I have been going to the Rainbow River State Park for nine years now and still haven't seen an alligator in the swimming area. Lots of people swim there so they tend to stay away. Park rangers also regulate the area so I'm sure they do their best to keep the public safe. Alligators are native to Florida and we have to share their habitats with them so we should be aware of their presence.
Thanks for the response.
Jennifer
