Do you have a favorite client?

   They do exactly what you suggest; they return your calls; they don't miss appointments; they appreciate your service and return to you when they need your services again.

If you have such a client, wouldn't you like to clone them?   Have 100 more of them?

You can.  Consistently show them how much you appreciate them.   Set up an automated system to reach out to them numerous times a year.  Always get their birthdate and send a birthday card.  Send a Christmas card, of course.  Get creative:  send a Groundhog Day card asking if they really want another six weeks of this weather, a first anniversary in your home card, or National Dessert Day card with some brownies included.  What you shouldn't do is promote your business.  Appreciation wins over self-promotion.  Trust me.

Doing these few things will truly impress your favorite client.  They will remember you and refer others to you.  Those they refer will be just like them or better.  Cloned, just like that.

Great point.  I have had this "cloning wish" several times.  Your post is very practical.
