featured agent success on realtor.com??

Real Estate Agent with The Indy Realty Shop

I am looking to maybe spend the $$$ and get myself as a featured agent on realtor.com

has anyone else had success with this?  I know you need a good backend(website) that will capture the leads.

Any success stories?  On that topic, what about the "featured home marketing system"?

I did featured home for one year.  It was very expensive with very little return.  As in no return that I could measure.

I have never done the featured agent but did do the featured homes for the past 2 years.  I do not plan to renew this year.  Although the "hits" on featured homes is much higher, I'm not sure it necessarily brought additional business.  I do plan to renew my enhanced listings because I feel that is necessary.  I suspect everyones enhanced listings contract will jump dramatically this year since inventory is up.

I did featured homes on Realtor.com the first year it was available.  The second year the price went up, but I stayed on.  The third year the price went up again, and I told them "no, thank you".  I think consumers have become more knowledgeable in using search tools, and the top position just isn't as important as it used to be anyway...  IMNSHO (In my not so humble opinion)

After hearing the pitch and the $11K pricetag, I called the featured agents in my area and everyone of them told me they were not going to renew.  For the record, several already have not.  I predict prices will drop because the number of people willing & able to pay for it will drop (referring to NAR membership of course).

I've never received a lead from Realtor.com and I do have Enhanced Listings. The seller's love it so you almost have to have it in my opinion.
