Conference

Warning...non real estate analogy in use here. Move on if you want real estate only.

We had my 7th graders parent teacher conference yesterday. For the first time ever the student led the conference. My wife and I were leery. It turned out to be the best conference ever. She took responsibility for areas of concern and received praise for all of the great grades.

Why do I mention this? Because we need to remember just because something is different than the way we have always done it; does not mean it can not be better. Change can be good, and in fact it usually is. Same way with real estate, new mortgage rules, etc. I was reminded yesterday that keeping an open mind is vital...and that you are never too late to learn something in school.
