I got my first 6 hours completed today:) Our Board had offered them earlier, but, I had appointments that had to be kept on those days. So, yes, I take my classes in the middle of winter. It has been warmer than normal, so, thank goodness for that. No trouble driving, roads are down to tar.
The two classes today were, Connecticut Buyer Agency and Connecticut Disclosure, RESPA, and Law Update.
We have a new Board Secretary at Tri-County. She did an excellent job. I hope that we didn't overwhelm her. Everyone did try to be considerate of her. She has watch on the door. Those late folks who just miss the deadline for admittance, are her responsiblity to notify that they cannot join in on the class. If she needed assistance, the Speaker was ready. She did not. So, it did enable the Speaker, to continue teaching the class uninterrupted. Awesome job! Thank you:)
The room was full and very interested in every word of the Speaker's. Maybe, you know her, Mrs. Barbara Fairfield, from Middlefield, Ct, Dynamic Directions. Her tips, advice and instruction were just excellent. She answered questions, was personable and courteous. Her presentation was well worth the time spent. We were taking detailed notes, all day!
The day flew by! It was good to see the other agents and talk with them on the breaks. I loved the time spent with my agents, who are both expecting babies:)
We all agreed, that, 2010 is going to be a good year for real estate! Keeping informed of the latest changes to our profession helps us to perform better for our clients! Education counts!
