Real Estate Market Report of Home Sales for January-June 2007 for East Moline and Silvis Illinois:
East Moline and Silvis, Illinois First-Half 2007 Home Sales Up 8.8%, Average Sales Price rises 7.3% from 2006!
REALTOR-assisted "Closed" single-family home sales in the cities of East Moline and Silvis, Illinois increased by a very healthy 8.8% in the first two quarters of 2007, up significantly from the same period in 2006.
With 246 closed sales transactions from January 1 to June 30, 2007, the East Moline and Silvis markets showed an increase of 20 units (8.8%) from the 2006 total of 226 closed sales transactions.
On an even happier note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed a significant increase of 7.3%: up from $97,613 in 2006, to $104,746 in 2007.
The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) dropped as well, from 68 Days in 2006 to only 55 Days in 2007.
The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) dropped slightly, from 96.99 in 2006, to 96.61 in 2007.
The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
