My son and one of his friends have come up with a pretty awesome idea.....I told him I would invite all my friends on ActiveRain to be a fan of this project on Facebook. The project is "MY SHOES YOUR WORLD" .... A way to connect with people everywhere. Below is the link for the Facebook page and an explanation of his idea.
MY SHOES YOUR WORLD 
The primary objective is to bring people, cultures, and places together by having a person send a pair of their shoes to a person in a different location. (This location may be as close as a city away or as far as another country.) In turn, the person receiving the shoes will be able to "walk a mile in the shoes" and document it by taking pictures. This will allow the sender to have a glimpse of another world by viewing a location/life that they, personally, may never have the opportunity of experiencing. They can then update their profile with the pictures, the location of where your shoes have been, and any other pertinent information.
It is still in the infant stages....but he just started last week and already has 234 fans!! I am very excited for him and am anxious to be a part of this idea.
