thing is such a big problem that there is no need to go on!
Chris- I think I'm going to stick with my Treo 605. I can't see paying $500 for a iPhone. Just wait something better will be out next month. It always seem like I can't keep up with technology. Maybe there will be an iTreo in the near future.
I agree Chris! I love my Treo (windows version.) It is my portable office and I cant imagine living without it. It would be nice if Palm would finally add WiFi but other than that it works great!
I'm a PC guy but I do have a couple of Mac's as well. I'm sure I will have to play with the iPhone for a while if I find a friend who has one and I might consider it if you didnt have to go with AT&T for service.
Jackson :-)
I was in LOVE with my Treos (yes, I had three of them -- one 600 and two 650s). For over a year, I maintained a website specifically to help real estate agents push the limits of a Treo (archives of these are now on my "other" blog at www.WickedBlog.com).
My advice? If you don't crave the iPhone, wait.
Personally, I get a really bad case of geekyness about such things and I actually bought one on the 29th when they came out (see my shiny new iPhone post).
But, there are several business-related activities that are actually better on the Treo device. The coolness factor is higher on the iPhone... but until I take the time to search for hacks to overcome the shortcomings I find in the iPhone, I can't recommend it for a business phone to someone accustomed to the Treo.
With that said, I must say I LOVE my new iPhone. I like the Safari browser more than any other mobile browser I've used. I like the email, the unlimited data for $20 per month, the sleek lines, the (comparatively) oversized screen for videos and the quality of bunches of music I carry with me everywhere. I also love that I no longer carry a 60 gig iPod, a digital camera (the iPod camera is pretty good) and an old Treo.
I guess I'm easily entertained... but having the iPhone makes it easier to STAY entertained!
;O)
