They pleaded with Bank of America to not foreclose on their home "Nothing Can be Done"

By

Charlie and Maria Cardoso pleaded with Bank of America to not foreclose on their home in Florida, but the bank said there was nothing that could be done.  So, the bank foreclosed on the property, forced out the tenants, stripped the house, and changed the locks.

There was just one small, little, tiny, almost insignificant problem… the Cardosa’s owned the home free and clear.  Bank of America had no mortgage on the home.  They meant to foreclose on a home down the street… the numbers on a court document were wrong.  But they went ahead and did it anyway, even after repeatedly being told by the Charlie and Maria Cardosa that they were wrong and that they had no right to throw out their tenants and take their belongings.

Wow this is unbelievable!  As long as the process takes, it is hard to believe these stupid people would make a mistake like this.....

This needs to be on local media as well as national media as an example of the ABUSE and DISCONNECT in the foreclosure process!!!

Thank you for the post!

Steve,

I cannot imagine the stress and terror that Charlie and Maria and their tenants went through. This goes to show BOA has no systems in place to make sure something like this doesn't happen. I love it, BOA foreclosed on a home in error and now instead of realizing a windfall of insurance money, they will wind up paying and paying and paying! Like the famous words of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman "BIG MISTAKE, BIG MISTAKE!" Love the new Bank Of America Logo!

Again, right hand does not know left hand.  This still unbeleivable to me!  Warm regards from chilly Ann Arbor.

The national media needs to run this story.  I hope they are.

Amazing story of the arrogance of our banking system.

Coffee can buried in the back yard might  be the way to go, but they may steal that also. I am horrified that they could be so stupid, so clueless, so arrogant.

I have more to say, but think perhaps I shouldn't....
