I've been inspired to create a new blog, specifically dedicated to outstanding homes in Summit County, Ohio.

If you are a Realtor in Summit County with an exceptional listing that you would like to promote, please bring it to my attention and I may feature it there. You can also send sold listings, with the owner's permission would be best. I cannot use pix with MLS watermarks. Your personal watermark is fine.

If you are an owner with an amazing home and you would like to share the beauty with others, send a picture and some info. It doesn't need to be for sale!

I love beautiful houses of all sizes - we all have our own version of a castle...what is yours?

Hi Dawn, I am in Summit county, Colorado. All we need now is someone from Summit County Utah! Why is your county named Summit? Do you have mountains? We have lots and we are named Summit because of all the beautiful peaks around us. Our eastern border is actually the Continental Divide. On our side of it all rivers drain West and on the other side they drain east.

Summit County Real Estate is one of our big search terms, and I have got so I have to add CO to it, to know what state people want. Welcome to activerain!

Hi Joanne!

Our county is named Summit since it has the highest elevation of the Ohio Erie Canal. No mountains unfortunately. We do have beautiful lakes and a chain of parks which we are very proud of.

I knew about your county because I searched for domain names earlier this year. I love Colorado! Thanks for writing - I hope I can send you a referral or come visit.

This is funny. A realtor in Colorado recently started to send me her leads because of the Summit County search words. She gets quite a few looking for the Akron area, not hers.......I gladly take them....for a fee of course......
