Need economical marketing & advertising ideas!

Real Estate Agent with Leo Parker Real Estate & Auction

Newbie agent here needing some ideas! Does anyone have some creative & economical ideas for marketing and advertising? I just got my license a few weeks ago and am off to a good start with 2 listings and several buyers and want to make sure I continue to grow my clientele. I have the cards, labels and flyers and could really use some more ideas that a new agent might be able to afford to do to get their name out to the community. My company also does a full page ad each week in the local paper with our pictures on it. Maybe someone knows of some good sites to order materials from? Any ideas?? Thanks!

Two listings and buyers - that is great! Just market the fool around your listings - knock on doors, invite them to Open Houses, etc., door hang, mail them, etc. Do a great joy with your buyer and KEEP IN TOUCH. You will be off to a great start.

Door hanging is the cheapest thing you can do---basically door knocking but I hate, hate, hate, to door knock!

Our local paper has a business section where you can put free announcements.  If your paper has something like this, write up something announcing your new association with your real estate company.  I get most of my materials from VistaPrint.com they usually have a lot of great deals.  For example you can buy 100 postcards for free just pay for shipping.  You can use those postcards to send notes to all your friends and family letting them know you are in a new business and you would like their support.  Drop 3-4 business cards in each one and ask them to please them give to anyone they know buying or selling real estate in the near future.  Other ways to get your name out in the community is to hold some type of activity such as a yard sale, food or clothing drive, etc.

Sounds as though you are on the way to success with already 2 listings and several buyers. Keep up doing whatever you are doing.

I think I was the only one that caught the "economical". Business cards and some flyers...cheap from Vistaprint.com take them to all your neighbors and just introduce yourself...it is amaising how many people in your neighborhood work, go to church, play sports, have children and talk to others outside of your neighborhood...Your their neighbor and now a freind...they will tell all their friends because they feel important when they can recommend someone they know.
