I have a Canadian citizen who wants to buy a house in Ann Arbor as an investment and rent this home 
back to the current home owners. He is not related to the home owners. He has the required funds for 20 percent down. Two lenders said no because he does not work nor live here. Really?
So I need to know who he should approach to make this work. This is a case of helping a foreclosed home owner stay in their home before the redemption period ends in June 2010.
By the way, the home owners are well educated, Kuwait refugees. She is a school teacher and was a stock exchange worker in the Mid East before all hell broke loose. Her husband lost his job recently in Michigan. They have 2 teenage American born children.
The resource is out there. I need to uncover this with the help of my Active Rain friends!
