Five Towns Fencers ClubFive Towns 5T Fencers Club - Great Job at the Nassau County Championships

Thanks to a lot of hard work and dedication and the terrific coaching by Jon Tiomkin, the boys of the Five Towns Fencers Club had a great showing atthe nassau County Fencing Individuals yesterday.

Zach Brandt (Independents, Lawrence High School)Finished in 3rd Place at the Countys.

Daniel Goldfeder (Independents, Lawrence High School) finished Second in the county for the season, 9th at the countys, and made First Team All County, and All Long Island.

David Galinsky (Hewlett High School) finished Sixth in the county for the season, 14th at the countys, and made First Team All County.

Jason Krueger had a good day at the Counties as well and a very good first season for the Hewlett High School Team.

Unfortunately Mikela Goldstein was unable to fence for Hewlett High School this year due to injury, but she was the number 1 fan.

Kidos also to the Hewlett High School Fencing Team coaches Nicole Bove and jared Pitelli

I haven't seen too many high school fencing teams. Good for you guys for competing and learning an esoteric, but classic sport. You'll always be in demand for pirate movies...
