First Time Buyer Question

By

This question goes out to both Realtors and First time Buyers.  Do you think there is a market for holding first time buyer seminars.  Are they a value to the buyer?  As a buyer do you look to see if these events are being held in your area.

I work with many first time buyers and I am currently working on a class that would be for first time buyers who will be able to take advantage of the tax credit before the April 30th deadline.

Thanks for you feedback,

Debbie

Absolutely I think it is a great idea. Here in Massachusetts first time home buyers who apply for a first time home buyer loan through the Mass Housing Program are required to take a 1st time home buyer class before the closing in order to qualify for the loan.

Debbie:  I did one once and got a decent turnout.  I bet you could generate some interest with this tax credit looming out there.

Hey, Debbie, I think a class for first time buyers is a great idea and, from what I've seen, they really work.  The important part is to make the class long enough to be effective but short enough not to bore the attendees to death.  We all know how that can be :)

Anyway, best of luck with it.  I hope you find great success.  Let us know.
