San Mateo, Redwood City and Unincorporated San Mateo agreed to help relieve the required new housing for Belmont, Millbrae and Colma. Redwood City's new downtown and San Mateo's Bay Meadows projects help to tweak the allotment and to share the burden of the required affordable housing. Other small cities are asking for the same consideration.
It is good to hear that our cities are looking out for one another.
