Wordless Wednesday: Anticipation

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Zwygart Real Estate

Photographed one early spring afternoon a couple of years ago in our front yard gardens in Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin, the heart of Cheese Country.  The purple of the crocus combined with the nodding heads of the snowdrops always brightens the heart, knowing spring is just round the corner.  All rights reserved.

Are you trying to remind us that spring is not too far away?  Can't wait.  But, I think that we're in for more snow before that.

That is one thing I miss living in Florida.  All the pretty spring flowers.  Especially when they peek up through a spring snowfall.  :-)

Be still my heart, I can't wait for the girls (I call them the girls) to arrive on my lawn.  It is always such a surprise, like one day you drive home and their they are, the toughest flowers in the world, neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet can deter them.  Maybe I should call them the post office.

Hi Brenda.  Now surely they're not peeking up yet this early in the year.

Aloha & best wishes.

Oh we certainly do not have crocus yet!  Ours are hibernating under a blanket of snow still.  I was having a bought of cabin fever the other day.  I am certainly looking forward to spring this year.

What a great burst of color they are. I am impatiently awaiting the first signs of my daffodils.

Christina, I do love the subtle colors of crocus.

Ellie, oh yes the daffodils!  Our front flower bed explodes with them every spring.

Debi, that is why the crocus are one of my favorites.  Only the snowdrops beat them out.  We've had snowdrops blooming with snow still on the flower beds in the past.  Crazy.
