Wordless Wednesday - Beautiful Views

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Keystone Realty RS294813

I took these from my 6th floor balcony at the Mohonk Mountain Resort in the Catskills.  I was there for my cousins wedding.  It snowed pretty much the entire time we were there.  This place was $500 a night with a discount in the winter.  Pretty much reminded me of the Shining.

Apparently in the summer it runs somewhere north of 1000.00 per night, but what an incredible place.  I drank some scotch and tried to blend in.

David,

The place in the shining is in Estes Park CO. It is still open for business.  $500 a night! did the room have its own private elevator?

It didn't even have a TV, but the pillows were very nice.

Nice colors in the clouds. They almost look like mountains in the sky.

Ouch $500 per night?  That is definitely pricey.  Did you have fun and was it worth it?

Wow, pricey, but nice view. So, was the snow a bad thing?

Well it was worth it becuase my cousin was getting married.  I drove up with my dad and he footed the bill so it was a relatively cheap trip for me.

The snow wasn't a bad thing except the fact that this place is located at the top of a mountain, and getting to the top proved to be somewhat interesting even in a 4x4 truck.
