It's OK for Microsoft but not For Toyota

Microsoft LogoOnce again Microsoft admits problem with their accelerator (Internet Explorer),  Microsoft warned on Toyota LogoWednesday that a flaw in its Internet Explorer browser gives attackers access to files stored on a PC under certain conditions.  Thats OK we'll forgive them and continue to use their products after all how bad could it be that someone can get to my financial files and possibly cost me thousands of dollars.

But then there is Toyota, problem with accelerator peddle , they move quickly to remedy the problem, still it's not enough. Drivers of Toyota products  are in an up roar and the Lawyers don't take any time at all jumping on with class action suits.  Could this spell the end of an era for Toyota?

Now, I don't drive a Toyota and my main Home computer is a Mac, but wouldn't you think what's good for the Goose is good for Microsoft.

Maybe Windows Users should be banning Internet Explorer or even Windows, since Microsoft has done this over and over again without any major repercussions from their customers.

You won't die from using a faulty operating system,  or Browser like you could from a faulty car part.  However, I think its time customers stood up to Microsoft for the continual shoddy workmanship we are blaming Toyota for.

Well, Bill, I just can hardly compare the two.

Microsoft IE can be an irritation, but works well the vast majority of the time.  Costs me a little time now and then.

When I hear that 18 people have died due to issues with IE8, the comparison and the point will be significantly more cogent.
