Staying Positive in a Not-So-Positive Market
It's not all rainbows and lollipops out there. Your clients and prospective clients have heard about the state of the nation’s real estate industry. So much of the news is negative, but you have the knowledge and ability to rearrange their thinking with your attitude.
Projecting a positive perspective can do wonders for you and your clients. Your "can do" spirit lets them know that you’ll leave no stone unturned to reach their real estate goals. Here are 3 tiny tips that make a big difference in creating a positive relationship with your clients.
Greet clients with a smile. Even if your first encounter is on the phone or via email, project a smile in your voice and your tone.
Take a personal interest. Remember that clients are people first, with a life outside of being your customer. This small shift in perspective goes a long way to making clients feel happy and important.
Offer your clients (a little) magic. Candy on Valentine's Day or a calendar to mark the New Year: do something small and special. You’ll leave a positive impression and set the stage for returns and referrals.
Experienced agents know that the real estate market goes in cycles. Maintaining a positive attitude regardless of the cycle will keep your clients smiling, happy, and ready to forge ahead using your services.
