Seattle Home Prices Up for First Time in Two Years

In city prices rose in January while outlying areas in the Puget Sound continued to drop. Hopefully this is the beginning of our rebound. Seattle was late to the crash, but we've manages to catch up with the rest of the country. I for one believe that the suburban and rural area are also on the mend. I did some work in Duvall last week and have noticed several new sales in both resale and new construction. This January was the mildest on record for Seattle and possibly the spring will come early for home sellers as well.

Here's the article from the Seattle Times.
