Calgary shift from a buyers market to sellers market.

Some interesting stats which may indicate a shift from a buyers market to sellers market. In Calgary we have numbers showing a 9% increase in the average sales prices of single family homes in the past 12 months. there has also been a 2.3% increase in the last 3 months of 2009 for 2 storey homes while bungalows and condo remain virtually unchanged  over the same 3 months.

Hi Colin, thanks for the stats, I do believe we will be heading into a sellers market unless we begin to increase the inventory.  I personally have been in two competeing offers in the past couple of weeks.  Last weekend, I booked 4 homes to show my client and 3 were already pending.
