Wyandotte County has been the center of attention with all the activities going on.

First there is the Kansas Speedway constructed in 1999. You can feel the excitement as you approach the stadium. Kansas Speedway now hosts multiple races to accomodate any race fan. Check out the Speedway Calendar to see upcoming events. If you have ever dreamed of actually driving a race car, you can enroll in a Driving School to experience the excitement. There is so much to see at Kansas Speedway. Come see for yourself.

Then there is The Legends at Village West. An outdoor shopping mall with amazing dining choices to include Granite City, Stix Japenese Steak House, Cheeseburger in Paradise, just to name a few. Not to mention the shopping choices of Forever 21, Nike, Old Navy, Buckle and many more. When your done eating and shopping you can catch a move at Phoenix Legends 14 Theatre.

Looking for Baseball Game? Kansas City T-Bones at Community America Ball Park is a great day of fun for the family. Located just to the north of The Legends, Community America Ball Park is sure to bring some great family fun.

While you are out in the area, Don't miss a visit to Nebraska Furniture Mart or Cabela's outdoors sports store.

After a day of fun events, you will surely need a place to stay. Check out the Great Wolfe Lodge or if you are looking for a quiet evening you can stay at the Chateau Avalon.

Summer time brings more things to do in Wyandotte County with the recent addition of Schlitterbahn Vacation Village.

But it doesn't stop here.... We are awaiting the Hollywood Casino at the Speedway and the recently announced addition of the Kansa City Wizards - Cerner Project.

With so much commercial development going on,  there is plenty of new residential construction to accomodate all of this growth. New home prices start in the $130k's for an upscale, maintenance provided townhome found at Delaware Highlands or Highlands at Piper, if your looking for a little more space, check out the Single Family Homes at Delaware Ridge or Highlands at Piper, prices start in the low $200k's. Looking for elegance? Check out Pavilions of Piper, this community is truly unique with the gated stamped concrete courtyards and architectual detail.
