BIG SOUTH FORK TENNESSEE: Are You Looking For Land In All The Wrong Places?

By
Real Estate Agent with Tennessee Recreational Properties

Just kidding. There's a lot of land for sale here in the horse country surrounding the Big South Fork National Park and buyers interested in land have to consider a few factors to determine which piece is right for them.

If they're making a permanent move, they need more acreage than if they are just coming up for the weekend to ride. They may want an interesting topographical feature and those are plentiful here, with rock bluffs, streams and little waterfalls. They probably prefer proximity to trails. They all certainly need a level building site.

Here are four new land listings. Each of these pieces is just waiting for the right buyer.

Redoak Drive Lot #255 Spruce Creek Equestrian Community

SURPRISE! SURPRISE! This looks like "just woods" but it isn't! There's level land where you could site a little cabin and a small barn and give yourself a view, overlooking the dramatic rock bluff and your horses in the turnout area below. This parcel is 3.18 acres in the Spruce Creek equestrian community. Redoak Drive, Lot #255. MLS #697345. $39,900.

Lucky Lane Lot #8 Spruce Creek Equestrian Community

ATTENTION, HORSE CAMPERS! This little lot in the Spruce Creek equestrian community is about as close as you can get to the Cumberland Trailhead into Big South Fork National Park without sleeping there! It's ¾ acre with a level place for an RV/LQ pad. Utilities on site for water and electric, and with a little clearing, you'll have turnout. Perfect for weekenders. Others have set up sites for horse camping on Lucky Lane so you'll fit right in. Lucky Lane, Lot #8. MLS #698750. $19,500.

PARTIALLY CLEARED AND READY FOR YOUR CABIN. This parcel, in the desirable Spruce Creek equestrian community, has a cleared building site waiting for you. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac with underground utilities right there. With just over 3 acres, there's enough room for cabin, barn and turnout and not so much that you'll be a slave to maintenance! Only a 15-minute hack to the Cumberland Trailhead into Big South Fork National Park, with its hundreds of miles of wonderful trails. Taft Story Road, Lot #523. MLS #698699. $48,500.

Cedar Ridge Road Lot #577 Ridge Top Equestrian Community

YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS PIECE OF LAND…and that's not "realtorspeak!" Just over 5 acres with one of everything! Located in Ridge Top equestrian community, there are enough deeded trails to ride for a couple of hours, or you can ride directly into Big South Fork National Park. On a quiet cul-de-sac, it's partially cleared for pasture. Level building sites on the high ground afford somewhat of a vista. Follow the path down past a massive rock bluff and along the lovely year-round creek to a water cascade. Lace up your hiking boots and come take a look; it's pretty special! Cedar Ridge Road, Lot #577. MLS #698697. $74,500.

Your listing sellers should be pleased with the awesome coverage and exposure you give their properties.  Hopefully they know how hard you work for them - but some just don't realize how much effort it takes.
