Want more leads?

By
Real Estate Agent with Summit Realtors, Huntsville Branch

I have learned how to keep my phone ringing off the wall! I put an ad in my local paper that says houses forsale in a certain area and the phone does not stop ringing! Try this it works! I got the idea from an older agent that had started his real estate profession this way! I am so glad I took the time to listen to his advice because it worked! If anyone wants to have more business then they can handle try it.

Just make sure you can turn those leads into deals. Don't make the same mistake so many Realtors make. Get them into your office once they are there it is easy to sell them a house and they think you are wonderful! I wish you all the luck I have had from this!

Do you add your Name and Broker in with the Ad? I have to do that here. Are you getting real quality leads? Sounds like it's working well for you.

Please elaborate on the ad for my simple tired mind.........does your ad really only say "Houses for Sale" with your name and number? Is this a community paper?

Here just a phone number would not work -- as it is required to have the broker name.

I am not allowed to place an add like that here either (GA), when I lived in VA we ran adds like that and they do get the phone ringing!

In Florida we have to disclose we are agents and the name of our company. So with that, I do not think we would achieve the same results as  you are receiving. Thanks for the tip, glad it works for you. Katerina

I would check into having to put your brokerage information into the ad you are not advertising a house just that you have homes for sale in your target area. This ad has even helped my past clients keep in touch with me. They love it cause they know my ad is in the paper whenever they need me. My ad looks like this....

SE Huntsville homes for sale

Katrina-I agree we need to disclose our brokerage firm, but see what loretta placed for an ad. Do you think that can work here in florida or do you think it would be consirded a bait and switch?
