Financing Changes

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Kinard Realty

With all the changes taking place in the Housing Market and Financing today I have ran into a bit of a snag. The area we live in still has Mobile Homes that are being placed for sale everyday. These homeowners are finding themselves in an awkward position.

They are finding Buyers but, these Buyers can not find someone in our area to do these Loans. The Lenders are not being allowed to do any type of financing. These homeowners when they purchased the homes met all the criteria set by FHA guidelines such as Permanent Foundation, etc., but, now no loans are being made.

I am sure I am not the only Realtor who has been faced with this dilemma and I want to be able to offer some type of suggestions or options the next time a potential Buyers comes knocking but, right now I am totally at a loss..... Somebody please point me in a positive direction?

While I'm a banker I still can broker some loans. The only companies we deal with are "straight up" and will fund deals. I have one that I use for mobile homes. Drop me a email or give me a call. Hope I can help
