About six months ago I got involved with an awesome startup, Zaang. Zaang is the one place where you can easily connect with other people who are interested in the same thing you are... anything you can imagine. Last Monday, February 1, we launched to the world. The growth since launch has been great and I wanted to share with you this powerful tool for real estate agents.
Zaang allows you to connect with others who share your interests. There is already a World of Real Estate on Zaang, and it's just waiting for real estate agents to hop on and share links, videos, photos, questions, and anything else that relates to real estate.
Real estate agents are already using Twitter, Facebook, ActiveRain and a number of other tools to connect with other agents. Zaang brings this one step beyond that. Our platform is similar to that of a forum, but with a web 2.0 / soclai media twist on it. Unlike Twitter we organize your conversations into specific topics. Unlike Facebook we aren't focused on the individual, we're focused on the community that exists around a topic.
On Zaang, you can follow a person, World, or a topic. Your home feed on Zaang is a collection of everything you follow. It includes photos, videos, chatter, links and audio files.
Let's take this beyond the World of Real Estate though. There are a number of other Worlds you can explore on Zaang. There are local worlds, technology worlds, and even worlds about Disney. Much like any other social network you can participate in local worlds and prove your expertise. You can build meaningful relationships with other users that can someday turn into sales.
