Speechless Sunday: Friday's Snow Storm = Winter Wonderland...

By

Isn't it funny how beautiful snow is when it's falling and then so dreary when the chemicals from the road muck it all up?  Here are some photos from the storm on Friday.  I guess we were lucky...we got just over 5 inches, but our neighbors to the east were hit much harder!

Enjoy!!!

Beautiful, but I'm happy not to be in it any more. I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area, but currently live in sunny St. Augustine.

Gorgeous. Too bad it has to be so cold to get beautiful scenery like that.

Wow!  That's a lot of snow.  We got some but not even enought to shovel.

I can't envisage this much snow, but it sure looks beautiful if you don't have to go out in it.

The best part about the fresh fallen snow  is the eerie silence all around

We're getting ready for another round starting early tomorrow morning!  Seems we've had quite a few rounds of snow this year!

We're under a winter storm warning. Plenty of snow is in the forecast.  We'll see if it comes.

Gorgeous pictures,  but it makes me so grateful that I live in Central Texas.

Chanda, Very good photographs I really like the second one it would make a good Christmas card.  We are having our three days of winter this week and expect to have one inch of sleet or snow but it will not stick because the ground is so warm.  The weather is a cold 39 degrees but will be back in the high 60's by the end of the week.
