I'm Getting Colder

Well, the realization hit me today....I'm getting really old!  Woke up aching with arthritic pain in every joint, I couldn't get warm so I took a hot shower and put on my "old school" granny zip-up chenile robe and big socks and house shoes (they actually have soles!) and sat down to look at my Facebook page.  Once there, I spent 15 minutes trying to remember the name of a friend I wanted to email, then once I remembered her, I couldn't remember what I wanted to tell her!

Even though I still feel like I'm 18 in some ways (naughty sense of humor, still like rock and roll, and I wear blue jeans that don't have pleats, a.k.a. "mom jeans"), I sometimes feel much older than my actual age.  Being a woman, I'm not allowed to divulge my actually age in years, but I can tell you I saw, and remember, the first time the Beatles were on "The Ed Sullivan Show", and I watched President Kennedy's funeral on TV.  Those of you who don't remember those things probably don't know when they happened anyway, so you can just say I'm "over 40" and leave it at that.  Please.

The good thing about getting older is, well, I'm not dead yet.  Just a little bit cold this morning.  I think I'll try something new today...like making tamales!

I hope you that are reading this are feeling good today, and I hope it's sunny where you are, instead of snowing and snowing and snowing.  And I hope you get older and try something new today!

As long as you have a (naughty) sense of humor, still like rock and roll and don't have pleats in your jeans your fine.

And the fact that your even willing to try something new is a testament to the fact that your mind is still open.

And its not that your colder it's just another question for the pro's about global warming.

Don't look at the snow as snow/look at it as purity (until the plows come anyway.

Enjoy your day

Thanks, Don....I'm a little warmer, and I've started getting the kitchen ready for tamales....

The snowball of happiness has whalloped me up side my head!  :)

Have a great day!
