I grew up living on one of the rivers that flow into Lake Sinclair. It's quiet, peaceful, full of nature without all the traffic of lake, yet with access. It really is beautiful.

Lee and Carol- I remember as a kid when my family moved from "town" out to the river I thought the world had ended, turned out it was a great place to grow up.

Jennifer- A "murder" is a flock of crows, and doesn't "Murder Creek" sound more interesting than "Crow Creek", but it is actually named after crows and nothing sinister.

Mary- Pre Lake Sinclair you would have been correct, but Lake Sinclair is made up of waters from several creeks and man made via a dam, thus the creeks became part of the lake for miles and miles, becoming deeper and wider. I would say a boat could only go about 3 or so miles up stream from this property before it begins again to look like a "creek" as opposed to being part of the lake.

Sheldon- I think so too. I'd love to have about 100 acres myself though.

Jane Anne- you so jinxed me. We're expecting 4 inches tomorrow

Nick- I'd say the average lake lot is just under 1 acre so no, this is rare.

Robert- Our lake is 15,330 acres with 417 miles of shoreline. It's not a big fat round lake. Lots of little fingers. you can go to my web site and check out the google map to see what it looks like. Each of my properties are located via google maps.

Valerie- 3 years ago it would have been a half again as much here too.

Robert- I think it's big, but compared to some lakes, not so much. It's the third largest in the state of Georgia behind Lanier and Oconee
