Waterfall & golf course in Arizona There is another Arizona.

When I post, you're used to seeing photos like this one of sunny, warm, Tucson. We have 300 + days of sunshine in this little corner of the world.

But there's another Arizona.

I was on the phone today with Deanne Olivas, REALTOR in Gilbert, AZ. (Active Rain at work ~ she's selling houses and I'm funding loans.)

During our conversation, Deanne asked if I had been on her blog today.

I hadn't, but while we were on the phone, I looked it up.

Deanne's in the "Other Arizona."

You have to know that Deanne and her family are vacationing at the moment in Arizona's White Mountains.

That mountain range has its name for a reason; you're not going to be thinking "Arizona" when you click the link to The Other Arizona.

WHAT? You expected to see 51 inches of snow on my blog? I don't think so... :)

We can drive 26 miles up to Summerhaven for snow, but this year, we haven't done it. LOL

Mike - I'm done with snow right now. It's snowing today, and we have rarely had more than 1 inch in a year, but this year it's snowed several times for several inches. The roads turn to ice really quick here because the temperature gets above freezing just long enough to melt some of it, and then it freezes back.

I call it global cooling, and humans had nothing to do with it.
