Valentines Day 5 Days and Counting!

The time just slips away and you could be wondering what can I do that is different?

My friend Tim Wilson was looking for posts with Valentine ideas and I haven't seen many so here you go Tim!

You can create you own slide show with pictures of you and your sweetheart or whoever you want!

It's easy and Free! Just go to www.Slide.com register and away you go!

Now buy a bundle of flowers from Safeway or the local grocery store and save money. Go to TJ Max, Ross, Pier 1 or some discount store and get a beautiful vase! Put those bright colored flowers or even the rose specials in the beautiful vase.. and you are set!

Wait there is more.. with the money you saved on the flowers... you have can purchase a wonderful fragrance.

Of course you dressed up in a bow is always a hit!

Terry ~ you are one smart guy! Have you been to the "Office" in Cabo yet... the bar/restaurant on the beach where they do shots while you eat and make balloon hats? Could be a romantic/rowdy spin for Valentines day! Check it out. The balloon hats get very spicey!

Carra: Thanks for the heads-up on the Slides.com ... much appreciated for this occasion and the future!

My wife just doesn't fall into the pattern you describe ... (of course!) Cut Flowers are a "no-no" for her (preferring something she can plant) and sweets ... the same. Perfume? She gets migraines from most ... so that's out. What have we decided to do to make the day special? Even when the kids were little, we got Chinese take-out, something we just never did often. It was fun for the kids and us .... and a real treat. Simple ... but it made her happy. I was well-fed and happy too! Works well for both of us still ... even now that the kids are gone. Our little tradition that we look forward to ...
