Why Strategic Defaults are gaining momentum amongst homeowners in our country.

Is Bank Of America doing the right thing in this foreclosure crisis?

A Treasury report from early December 2009 said that  Bank of America had completed modifications for only 98 mortgages under a government program called HAMP, or the Home Affordable Modification Program

98 of them!

In January 2010 Bank of America was expected to announce that it has completed more than 3,200 HAMP modifications, a huge increase from the last tally of 98. .

The mystery is why the sudden jump in numbers and how many of those modifications will still be current in 6 months?

Hard questions that requires transparency from one of the biggest banks in the world.

After all, they have received nearly 100 billion dollars in Government  assistance that comes directly from out tax dollars.

I know I will have some distractors, but I fully support the idea of strategic default.  We continue to have an asset bubble in the US and across the world.  It is called government debt.  And all that debt is based upon nothing more than each government continuing the  hoax.
