Snowbound And Social Media....A Great Combination
It is another blustery snow day in Annapolis Md. This day has to be one of the worse of all the days as the wind is blowing howling and bringing concerns of power outages. So far so good though. A day of watching TV news reports was a definite NOT doing (too depressing) so I headed upstairs over my garage to my home office to get some work done.
The last few days have been great for catching up on my To Do List and of course to check in on Active Rain. As I booted up my desktop, popped open my first diet coke for the day and opened my email I was reminded of a webinar today on Social Media courtesy of the Maryland Association of Realtors. Ahh yes...Perfect.
I love webinars. They are the perfect answer to learning from the comfort of my computer screen and today was a great day to have one on the agenda. So I snuggled up and started taking notes. So much still to learn when it comes to this social media stuff.
As we worked through the webinar the subject of Active Rain came up. The speaker even took a poll of how many of the 300 agents, who were connected to the webinar, used Active Rain. Well to my surprise a whopping 77% said they WERE NOT using Active Rain AT ALL. 77%!!! That was mind boggling to me. How could that be? They definitely are losing out when it comes to the power of the best real estate social media site around. As for me...I am thankful everyday for being here.
So now I am off to check out and off all that I have learned or have been reminded about when it comes to Social Media. It may be snowing, blowing and freezing outside but it's still a great day when you have social media AND Active Rain to delve into.
Ohh....After the webinar I ventured over to the window for a look outside.
