Today is officially my first anniversary playing in the Rain. I can think of no better way to celebrate than to talk to the Cosmic Cow Pie Queen, Carra Riley, on BlogTalkRadio this morning at 9am PST. I'm nervous and excited about the interview. Carra is just one of the many fantastic people I have met here in the 'Rain. She helped get me in touch with Anna Banana at the Active Rain workshop in Phoenix last September. And Mary Yonkers is a sweetheart of a lady whom I met here in the Rain and had the good fortune to meet in person when she and her lovely husband came to Southern California last October. "Wordy" Miss C Tann-Starr is exactly that, wordy. But those words are quite a valuable read. I always look forward to Trivia Tuesday with Valerie Osterhoudt. I aspire to the Virtual Assistant greatness that is Miss Chris Fisher. That British Agent, Sheldon O'Neal, always has a fun spin on things. Gary Woltal is full of upbeat and motivational words of wisdom. Fellow NASCAR enthusiasts Wallace Gibson, Zane Coffin and Tammy Lankford should be gearing up for the new season which kicks off with the Daytona 500 this weekend. Active Brad Andersohn always has our back when getting us the latest and greatest info on keeping our blogs as well put together as possible. Zooey the Cool Cat and her trusty sidekick Russel Ray are fabulous at getting people involved in Active Rain. And Lanre The Real Estate Farmer takes time out of his busy schedule to highlight five non-featured blogs that you may have missed every single week.
These are just a few people that make it so much fun to be a member of Active Rain. I better go out and get me a good pair of "wellies" (a tip o' the hat to your native tongue there, Sheldon!). I plan on doing alot more playing in the Rain in the future.
