Be a Leader!

Hi everyone, just a quick blog before I get ready for the day ahead. I have shared a blog about leadership a while ago but I am preparing for a presentation to the Boys and Girls Club where I sit as a Board Director. It deals with leadership within family and in the business arena. I think about all of you Realtors and how important this should be to you in every aspect of your life. The meaning of leadership is the challenge to be something more than average. Learn to help people with more than just their jobs; help them with their lives. I am in the service industry just as you are because we honestly enjoy helping other people. We have to learn to discipline our disapointments. It is not what happens to us, it is what we choose to do about what happens that makes a difference in how we turn out. How we handle it. Anyway, my thought is that if you share a good idea long enough, it will fall on good people. Be a leader!!! Have a Fantastic day today.

Hi! One of my dear friends was a board member of the Boys and Girls club here in DC. What a great organization. Thanks for sharing! It is very cool that you are helping young people.

Scott,  Thanks for posting inspirational words!  Thank You also for being involved with young people in your community.  I live in rural north Arkansas and have been active in the Boy Scouting program here for over 15 years.  Some of the most rewarding times were seeing a young man light up when figuring out how to tie that knot or the look on his face when he was recognized for his accomplishments.  Keep up the good work, and Have a Great Week!
