This morning I went with my client for a new construction walk thru to have them place stuff like recessed lighting, phone and cable jacks. I always bring my camera along. Every time a jack or fixture was located, I took a picture.
I have had it happen in the past where thre was supposed to be phone jack in the kitchen, It was labeled and a box was placed and the cable was run, However, the drywall guys covered it up and then the tile people did their back splash and no one knew exactly where the box was. I pulled out my laptop and started searching my pictures and i found the box. The builder was able to get the plate in place for the phone without messing up the back splash. I looked like a genius to my client.
Whenever the biukder takes out his balck market, I take a picture. I also take other pictures at a distance so I know when it goes, but I am showing this for effect. The others wouldn't mean much to you.
