Just got a notice from Anthem Blue Cross that my health insurance is going up $50 per month as of March 1st, and my deductible is going up to $5000 per year!
But they are making it VERY convenient that if I want to stay on the same deductible that I can pay an additional $100 per month.
Just thought I would post this to illustrate to all of those out there who are anti-health reform that you had better wake up.
The only reason this is happening right now is because they think they can get away with unilateral price increases like this.
Having a goverment option would eliminate things like this because all of these health providers would have to compete for our business, just like we do in any other industry in this country.
