Hi Folks,
I am chomping at the bit for Springs arrival and one of the ways I know it it is right around the corner is when my daughter starts talking about raising baby chicks and that is followed shortly by the hatchery catalogs showing up in the mail . . . but one of the sure fire ways, for me, is when Echo Valley Feed Store in Auburn, CA makes the official announcement that "baby chicks are arriving soon".
Here is the details of their first available chicks of the 2010 season . . .
Baby Chicks: New Deliveries twice a week, starting February 25, 2010.
- Wide selection of Breeds
- Ducks and Geese coming, too!
- Call in your order now: 530-823-8320
You can just pop in to see what is available or make a special request. They are happy to accomodate folks either way.
Echo Valley Feed (205 Nevada Street in Auburn) is Open 7 Days a Week too!
Mon-Fri 8:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Sunday 10:00am - 3:00pm
We have bought chicks from them each of the last two years and been very happy with the results. Nice healthy chicks that have become lovely members of the family - and did I mention that the eggs they lay are very nice & tasty too.
There are many great hatcheries available to rural property owners, the only hitch is that you have to buy 25 chicks or more as a minimum order . . . Echo Valley is happy to sell them to you 1, 2, 3 or more chicks at a time.
Sping is coming, can you feel it?
May all your acres be green ones,
Paul
