If you have not been to Washington DC since the Korean War Memorial was finished I recommend that you make the trip. It is a stunning memorial.
As a Vietnam veteran I have a special place for "the wall" but this memorial really touched me.

If you have any pride in being an American it really does touch you to be at the memorial. I've been there a couple times when there have been Vets there remembering people on the wall. Not easy to watch the emotion.
