Recently, my mom, Irene Rasmussen attended a class by Lynn Madison. My mom has been attending classes offered by Lynn for years. I have also so while trying to figure out this business were in I'm always open to suggestions and highly respect Lynn.
She suggested that all REALTORS read the following 3 books:
- "The Sellout" by Charles Gasparino
- "Too Big to Fail" by Andrew Ross Sorkin
- "The Foreclosure of America" by Adam Michaelson
I just started reading "The Sellout" and it's oustanding. It explains how Wall Street created mortgage bonds, etc... to create new ways for investors & the firms of Wall Street to make huge sums of money. All this propelled the economy into our current crisis.
My explanation is my own and may not be the best. It's interesting to know & learn about this side of our business. I highly recommend this book.
